A little pricey...

These pencils are cute and sturdy, and they work as well as any other #2 pencils, but they cost three times the amount of plain yellow pencils; and they don’t come pre-sharpened. It’s really just a matter of how much you are willing to spend. If you are a teacher purchasing them for the classroom, they might be nice to give out as little prizes or for something a little brighter now and then instead of the boring yellow pencils, but it doesn’t make economic sense to purchase them for regular use. Teling 32 Pcs Western Cowboy Cowgirl Pencils for Kids

These are really cute and write the same as a number 2 pencil. Love that they made the erasers match the pencil’s outer color/theme. They sharpen easily with a typical pencil sharpener. We don’t have any heavy pressure writers in our house but these seem as they would hold up to that sort of writing style. These are great for kids in the 5-10 age range is my feeling on them and our nieces and nephews love them and are excited to go back to school with them. Overall satisfied with the quality, quantity and overalll value for this product.
