I teach 6th grade math and science. My 6th graders (even the boys) love these. I love them from my childhood, so try to share some if the nostalgia to them. I do have to explain how they work, ha, as I had a couple of students throw the piece away once it was used up.

These pencils have a cute design and are very affordable but the tops do not stay ok. They are lighter weight than ones I have purchased in past. I would buy again because of price.
