These coffee filters work fine. I thought they worked as well as the more expensive brand I was using. I did not have any problems with the seam blowing out. The seams have held on everyone and I have made about 50 cups so far. I make my coffee by pouring in a small amount of boiled water at a time then following up with an ounce or two more water until the cup is full. So problems with water filtering too fast is not a problem for me. I have not noticed any coffee grounds in my coffee .I would recommend them.

Great filters. I notice a VERY slight paper taste, but if you rinse it first, it goes away. I am the only one in my household that tastes it so its not strong by any means.

These are great filters at a decent price. They are even better than shown — they have a small tab not shown in the photos that makes it super easy to open up the filter. Though these are a better deal than most brand-name grocery store filters, they are slightly more expensive than the ones at Trader Joe’s (at least in my market). These also come wrapped in plastic (each 100 count), whereas the TJs ones come in a plastic-free, recyclable cardboard box.
