Feels thin, but strong enough

I was skeptical that these would be strong enough to hold a 13lb turkey, 2 gallons of brine, and a few other bits, but I was proven wrong. I fried four turkeys for Thanksgiving and always brine them ahead of time. In the past I’ve done one or two and use a brining bucket, but with 4 this year, a new approach was needed. I lined a bucket with these bags, put in my turkey, then poured in brine, some oranges, some other spices, and then lifted the turkey by the bag before spinning it and zip tying closed. I considered double bagging but that proved unnecessary. These bags worked just fine.
